Meet Nikki

Welcome to Soul Health Massage and Fitness

The home of Massage Therapist and Health Enthusiast, Nikki Hodgins.

I graduated as a Remedial Massage Therapist from The Natural Health Academy in 2010 where I studied modalities including – Trigger Point Therapy, Relaxation & Sports massage, Myofascial Release and  Sports Injuries.

Over the years I have worked alongside Physiotherapist, Chiropractors, Football clubs, Personal Trainers and other tactile Therapists and up-skilled to include Rocktaping, Myofascial Cupping, Dry Needling, Thai Yoga Massage and Pregnancy Massage. This has helped build my knowledge & skills and to keep everlasting referral based relationships.

My clients can always know that their best interests and well-being are my top priority.

2017 brought some exciting new journeys including opening a studio, ‘Bodytech Health & Performance’ with long term friend and Personal Trainer Jess Burns. I started as a Coach, Trainer & Fitness Director in the Health and Fitness industry in 2006 when owning my own studio was just a dream but today is my reality.

My biggest achievement and journey to date is becoming a Mum to my sweet daughter Sadie Yvonne, which brings me to where I am as a Therapist today. The birth of Sadie inspired me to become a Paediatric Massage Consultant, certified through the Infant Massage Information Service and a Pregnancy Massage Therapist, certified through Pregnancy Massage Australia.

Being a first time mother, naturally my child’s health and happiness is one of my highest priorities. I am at my calmest when I know Sadie has fed well,  sound asleep snuggling her ‘Lamby’ and seeing that cheeky grin first thing in the morning.

It is my passion to share Sadie’s and my positive experience with Baby massage and also to share my knowledge, techniques and tips with new mums and dads, parents and caregivers… or anyone that will listen!

A passion exists for looking after the body both physically and mentally, developing a deep respect for the need to balance activity with rest, to allow the body time to heal and return to wellness.

I pride myself on the ability to care and listen to the needs of others.

I am dedicated to quality service resulting in empowering, encouraging and improving the physical and mental health of each and every person that comes to visit me.
